選挙参議院選挙の特定枠について昨年公職選挙法が改正されましたが、どんな内容なのかご存知ですか？
選挙権が18歳以上となっている今、若い人たちも含めて改めて選挙のことを考えるよい機会になると思います。
特定枠とはどういうしくみなのか、メリットとデメリットについて調べてみました。

参議院立候補者の年齢は30歳以上で任期は6年、半数が3年ごとに改選されます。
任期満了前に終了することはありません。衆議院と違い解散がないからです。
各都道府県を単位とした選挙区選挙と全国を単位とした比例代表選挙があり、2017年7月の改正前までは選挙区から146人、比例代表区から96人が選出されました。
参議院選挙の場合、投票用紙は2枚あり、個人名を記載する紙と政党名を記載する紙があったのを覚えているでしょうか。
