今年2018年は中間選挙の年なので、ちょくちょく話題に上り始めています。
私と同じように、よく知らないという方もいらっしゃるかと思いますので、中間選挙について調べてみました。
アメリカ大統領の任期は4年ですが、中間選挙は、大統領選から2年経ち、ちょうど半期がすぎたタイミングで行われる大規模選挙のことです。
そのため、政権への信任投票の側面もあり、その後の政権運営へも影響が大きい非常に重要な選挙です。
